1. About the service

Gjestfri is an AI-powered platform for short-term rental hosts, provided by Appit AS (org. no. 933 898 210). The platform helps you manage rentals across channels such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and others.

The service includes:

• Channel management through Channex (syncing of calendars, rates, and bookings)
• AI pricing advice based on season, demand, and competitors
• Automated guest messaging with AI
• Your own website with a booking engine for direct bookings
• A marketplace for hosts in Norway

3. Your account

To use Gjestfri you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place through your account.

You must provide accurate information when registering. If we discover that the information is false or misleading, we may suspend or terminate your account.

4. Plans and payment

Gjestfri offers the following plans:

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Direct bookings on your own website use Stripe Connect, where the payment goes directly to you as the host.

All prices are stated exclusive of VAT unless otherwise noted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Use the service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Not publish false, misleading, or illegal content
• Not attempt to manipulate or abuse the platform's systems
• Not use the service for spam, fraud, or other harmful activity
• Respect other users' rights and privacy

Violating these rules may lead to suspension or permanent exclusion from the service.

6. AI-generated content

Gjestfri uses artificial intelligence to generate price suggestions, property descriptions, guest messages, and other recommendations.

Important: All AI-generated content consists of suggestions and guidance, not guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the content before it is used. Appit AS is not liable for loss or damage resulting from you relying solely on AI-generated suggestions.

7. Limitation of liability

Gjestfri is provided "as is". We work to keep the service available and running well, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Appit AS is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or damage arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service over the past 12 months.

8. Cancellation and deletion

You can cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

When you cancel, you can request deletion of your account and all associated data. Deletion is completed within 30 days of the request, except for data we are legally required to retain.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall first be sought resolved amicably. If this fails, the dispute shall be settled by Bergen District Court as the agreed venue.
